I Quit TikTok and Instagram, Here’s Why
I finally deleted TikTok from my phone a month ago, and I’m not looking back!
I’m done.
The truth is, I don’t need every social media platform, they’re bad for my mental health.
At one point, I was obsessed with publishing on every platform known to man; however, these days, I’m focused on the platforms that bring me joy. Also, I’ve found my tribe, and I don’t need Instagram or TikTok anymore.
Gary Vee is one of my favorite entrepreneurs and content creators, I respect him; however, his idea that we must post on every platform out there doesn’t ring true for me anymore.
I think that creators and digital entrepreneurs need to do what works best for them.
I do believe that we must create more and publish as much as we can; however, we don’t need to spread ourselves too thin.
There’s nothing wrong with picking two platforms and going all in on those platforms.
You don’t need Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTik, X, Threads, LinkedIn, and every other platform out there. Choose your poison and run with it.
